      教材分析:

      本課的故事是在美國的daming 和他的美國表兄simon跟隨simon's dad 去一家快餐店就餐的經過。需要學生掌握的語言功能是如何在快餐店點餐:“what do you want? i want a hot dog, please.”及如何詢問價錢:“how much is it? it's thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.”本課的內容貼近學生的生活實際,有利于培養學生在真實的語言情景中運用英語進行交際的能力。

      知識目標:

      1.what do you want ? i want a hot dog ,please.

      2.how much is it ? it’s thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.

      能力目標:

      能用英語來表達如何點餐及詢問價錢。

      情感目標:

      激發學生的學習熱情,了解中西方的飲食文化異同,并進行文明禮儀教育。

      中西方在價格表達上的異同(1美元=100美分)

      教學用具:

      tape recorder, cai, some food

      教學準備:

      課前調查班級中去過西餐快餐店的同學有哪些,他們都了解哪些快餐。

      教學過程:

      warm up

      1. greetings

      2. free talk

      3. game: do as i say, not as i do.

      presentation

      1. show some pictures of food to the students.

      2. stick them on the board after read.

      3. then the teacher touches the stomach and says: “i’m hungry and thirsty and thirsty, now. i want some noodles cake /cola/hamburger…”and write the new words on the board.
