　　在我學的課程當中英語成績是最不好的，唉！我以后要怎么辦。

　　有一次我問我的爸爸，“為什么我的英語總是學不好，而我的數學卻學得頂呱呱呢？”我的爸爸回答說：“不是你學不好而是你偏科而已。”爸爸又說：“英語是世界上最廣泛應用的語言，漢語只有我們中國人在用，你們下一代是要走向世界的，只有有了語言的'溝通，你們才能和美國、英國、法國、加拿大等等許許多多國家里的少年英才們互相溝通，互相學習，把我們的世界建設的更加美好，不學習英語怎么能行呢？”

　　我仔細想了想，我之所以沒有把英語學好，是因為我沒有認識到它的重要性。我再不好好學英語，等我長大后走向未來時，我就成為了外國人眼中的文盲，他們就會瞧不起我，而我是祖國的未來，我怎能為我們國家去丟人！

Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
