      一、教學目的

    Unit 4 Halloween 教學教案

      二、 教學目標:

      1、 讓學生通過收集資料和本課活動,了解萬圣節的有關情況。

      2、 通過介紹風俗,學習單詞pumpkin lantern,candle,mask,pig,if,能聽懂、會讀、會說這些單詞。

      三、 教學重點:

      讓學生通過這節課的活動了解有關萬圣節的傳說、風俗,為下節課的教授對話作鋪墊。

      四、 教學難點:

      能聽、說、讀單詞pumpkin lantern,candle,mask,pig,if。

      五、 課前準備:

      1、 教學準備:讓學生課前收集萬圣節的資料,每人做一個面 具。

      2、 教具準備:錄音機、磁帶、準備幾個面具(**、老虎、狗)

      3、 板書準備:在黑板上預先寫好課題Halloween

      六、 教學過程:

      Step 1 Free talk

      1. T:Let’s sing a song. We can sing and dance ”together.

      Ss:Sing the song

      2. T:(Greeting)Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls.

      3. T:Do you know what day is April 1st?(Fool’s Day)

      What day is June 1st?(Children’s Day)

      What about October 31st?(Halloween)

      (Teach “Halloween”)

      Step 2 Presentation

      1.T:Halloween falls on the night of Oct. 31st and it gives us a perfect opportunity to have great fun!

      Do you know the origin of Halloween?

      關于萬圣節的由來,傳說最多的版本認為,那是源自于基督誕生前的古西歐國家,主要包括愛爾蘭、蘇格蘭和威爾士。這幾處的古西歐人叫德魯依特人。德魯依特的新年在十一月一日,新年前夜,德魯依特人讓年輕人集合,戴著各種怪異面具,拎著刻好的蘿卜燈(南瓜燈系后期習俗,古西歐最早沒有南瓜),他們游走于村落間。這在當時實則為一種秋收的慶典,也有說是“鬼節”,傳說是當年死去的人,靈魂會在萬圣節的前夜造訪人世,據說人們應該讓造訪的靈魂看到圓滿的`收成并對鬼魂呈現出豐盛的款待。所以篝火及燈火,一來為了嚇走靈魂,同時也為鬼魂照亮路線,引導其回歸。

      至于南瓜燈也至少有兩種說法。一種說是人挖空了南瓜又刻上鬼臉,點上燭火以驅散鬼魂的;另一種說是鬼魂點上燭火,試圖騙取人們上當而跟著鬼魂走,所以人們就在南瓜表面上刻上一個嘲諷的臉面,用以嘲笑鬼魂:哼!傻瓜才會上你的當!傳說因為首先用南瓜的是一位愛爾蘭人Jack,所以人們又將鬼臉南瓜燈叫做Jack-O-Lantern.

      Ss:(Repeat “Jack-O-Lantern” several times)

      T:(Ask one student)Can you tell me what’s this in English?

      S:It’s a mask.
