高一英語組
一、 教材分析
本單元的中心話題是“身勢語”，具體涉及“什么是身勢語”，“如何理解身勢語”，“身勢語的跨文化性”等。語言技能和語言知識都圍繞“身勢語”這一中心話題設計的。閱讀部分是一篇介紹性的文章，介紹的是各文化背景下的身勢語的異同。文中列舉了不同國家對眼神交流和基本手勢的不同理解和表達，還介紹了一些國際通用的身勢語，比如微笑等。內容結合實際生活，對實際交流應用有極大幫助。
二、 學情分析
高一（1）學生基礎薄弱，但經過一年的學習，成績穩步提升，開口用語表達的能力增強。具備一定自主學習能力。是也存在一批學生由于本身基礎較差，英語學習存在困難，學習積極性不高的學生。因此采用師生互動，小組學習討論方法，學生間相互幫助，完成教學任務。
三、 教學目標分析
1． 語言知識目標：
掌握與“身勢語”相關的詞匯：index finger, handshake, bow, bend, tear down, ahead of, make a face等
2． 語言技能目標：
培養學生良好的閱讀與表達技能，使學生能運用所學知識解決所給任務，提高學生聽、讀與說的綜合技能。
3． 情感目標：
激發并提高學生學習英語的興趣，培養學生自主學習的能力和協同合作的精神。
四、 教學重點與難點分析
重點：如何提高學生的閱讀理解能力，培養學生捕捉關鍵句和查讀尋找信息的能力。
難點：如何通過小組合作，對課文信息進行攝取和取舍，運用所學語言知識，成功運用各種“身勢語”表達交流。
五、 教法與學法分析
《新英語課程標準》指出：“英語課程的學習，是學生通過英語學習和實踐活動，逐步掌握英語知識和技能，提高語言實際運用能力”，因此“教師應避免單純傳授語言知識的教學方法，盡量用‘任務型’的教學途徑”。因此具體采用以下策略：
⑴激趣引趣策略。從有趣的flash做導入，激發學生的興趣，讓學生真正有參與的欲望。
⑵循序漸進和尊重差異策略。課文處理由簡到繁，由易到難，有層次的理解課文。
⑶任務型活動策略。在做中學，在做中練，在做中鞏固，使課堂教學產生事半功倍的效果。
⑷自主學習和合作學習策略。全班每四人一組，每小組負責一段“身勢語”編排，另一對應小組負責猜測含義。各小組合作討論，根據課文內容，以及平時掌握的知識，以performance或dialogue的形式向全班同學展示對話，選擇對應組猜測。學生自主閱讀、提取課文信息，合作討論，共同完成performance在此過程中，教師扮演指導角色，解決學生學習過程中遇到的語言與知識問題，有利于培養學生自主學習的能力和協同合作的精神。
