    I 請本地教師組織教學,學生小組活動

    (教師)1. Points to the TV screens in the picture and have students read the words in those TV screens.

    (教師)2. Point to the four questions in the box and red the questions to the class again. Then help students form small groups. Say, Now answer these questions and talk about some soap operas.

    (教師)3. After five minutes, talk about the questions with the whole class. Ask students from different groups to tell what they talked about in their group. Focus on the ideas the students are talking about. But sometimes when a student starts to tell what another student said, you can help that student make a sentence such as: Anna said she didn’t watch soap operas. Bill said people get mad on soap operas.

    (教師)1. Point to the TV screens in activity 1a one by one. Ask different students to look at each picture and tell what is happening.

    (教師)2. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.

    (教師)3. Play the tape a second time. This time say, Now, write the numbers 1 through 4 in front of the pictures. Put a number 1 in front of the picture you hear first on the recording, and so forth.
