4. 在英語(yǔ)中有一些表示時(shí)間，條件，方式或讓步的從句有時(shí)可以省略一些成分： 如果從句的主語(yǔ)和主句一致，而且從句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞又包含be，那么這個(gè)主語(yǔ)和be動(dòng)詞都可以省略。

6. beat，defeat和win有什么區(qū)別
(1)beat，defeat都表示在戰(zhàn)斗中或競(jìng)賽中“戰(zhàn)勝、打敗(對(duì)手)”，后接競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手，可以互換。
e.g. beat the competitor/the country/the team…
打敗對(duì)手/國(guó)家/那個(gè)隊(duì)……

11. afford的用法
及物動(dòng)詞，其主要用法如下：
