一、教材分析:本模塊的Unit 2 是《英語》(新標準)系列教材中MODULE 8的第二個單元,根據(jù)新標準的要求, 第二單元是以培養(yǎng)學生的讀寫能力為主,包括詞匯,語法的學習活動。通過unit 1中談?wù)摗癟ony的生日過程”的聽說活動,過渡到本單元“如何為他人選擇禮物”的讀寫活動,通過逐步遞進，由易到難的教學以及活動，培養(yǎng)學生基礎(chǔ)語言能力,閱讀能力和語言聽說能力的訓練 , 最終實現(xiàn)聽說讀寫的綜合學習, 實現(xiàn)本模塊的任務(wù)教學。

Step 1:Lead-in
Enjoy a song “happy birthday to you”.
設(shè)計意圖：欣賞并唱生日歌導入話題，創(chuàng)設(shè)良好的語言活動氛圍。引起學生興趣。
Step 2: Warming-up
1. Ask the students if tomorrow is your birthday, what presents do you like ?And why? Talk something about it.
2. Introduce the new words.
4. Read through the list of presents and have the students repeat them
5.Pair work, call back the answers from the whole class.
