Thoughts on the design:
本節(jié)課是本單元的第二課時(shí)，是以讀為主的閱讀教學(xué)課。閱讀教學(xué)應(yīng)當(dāng)著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取和處理主要信息的能力，理解文章主旨和作者意圖，通過(guò)上下文的線索進(jìn)行推理，所以，設(shè)計(jì)了由淺入深多項(xiàng)閱讀理解題；同時(shí)，本單元要求培養(yǎng)學(xué)生形成良好的辨認(rèn)客觀觀點(diǎn)的閱讀策略，所以在題目中也有所體現(xiàn)。
Teaching aims:
1. After learning the reading material Important Film Events around the World, the students will be able to identify a transcript of a television show;
2. After reading, Ss will be able to describe different film festivals around the world;
3. After learning the reading strategy, Ss will be able to identify objective views;
4. After reading the passage, Ss will be interested in searching for more knowledge about films.

Check the homework. (Ask Ss to surf the Internet or refer to some relevant books to find background information about film events around the world and their favorite directors or films.)
